“White Out” shirts to be distributed before Miami game

Before next Thursday night’s football game against Miami, students will be able to pick up one of 8,000 free T-shirts being given out in support of the football team’s proposed “White Out.”

Volunteers from the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Ramblin’ Reck Club will be handing out the free shirts from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Callaway Plaza in front of Bobby Dodd Stadium.

To get one of the White Out T-shirts, students will have to produce both a valid Buzzcard and ticket to the game. Each student will be restricted to receiving only one shirt.

The 8,000 White Out T-shirts are being sponsored by a combined effort from the SGA, Ramblin’ Reck Club, the Athletic Association, Auxiliary Services, Undergraduate Studies and the Office of Success Programs.

Students are being encouraged to wear white clothing of all types as a display of unity.
