No new ‘Niques until after Spring Break

Prestigious scholarships information session to be held next week

On March 11 at 11 a.m., all students graduating in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 are invited to come to the Undergraduate Information Session on Prestigious Scholarships in the Student Success Center. There will be information on the Rhodes, Marshall, Fulbright and other scholarships.

All undergraduate students are invited to learn how to plan for future applications for scholarships and learn about undergraduate scholarships.

Alert test succeeds with visually impaired recipients

Researchers at Tech’s Wireless Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center concluded that 94 percent of blind and visually impaired test subjects found their Wireless Emergency Communications project to be a significant improvement over their current methods of receiving emergency alerts.

Additional field tests are slated for the upcoming months at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf.
