Dogwood Blooms

The 72nd Atlanta Dogwood Festival starts today and continues through Sunday. There’s plenty of free fun, including live music and an artist market. Due to the drought the Festival will be held outside in front of Lenox Square. Pets are not allowed. For more information check out www.dogwood.org.

DramaTech Presents

Drama Tech presents the Tony Award-winning musical Urinetown, which tells the story of a drought-stricken town in which residents have to pay to use the bathroom. Performances run from April 4-5, 9-12 and 17-19. All shows start at 8 p.m.

The Circle of Life

Disney’s smash Broadway musical The Lion King will play at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center from April 3 through May 4. Tickets range from $20 to $62 and can be purchased online. Some days feature multiple shows. For more information check out www.atlantaciviccenter.com.
