As the first week of classes draws to a close, and the workload inevitably starts piling up, students will begin the search for something to take their mind off calculus, physics and chemistry. Some will turn to partying, other to joining clubs and others still to staring mindlessly at the television for hours.

The Student Center is getting a makeover with the addition of five new franchise restaurants.

Icy conditions moved indoors when multiple pipe bursts resulted in the flooding of several buildings across campus. The Undergraduate Living Center (ULC), North Avenue North (NAN), and the Student Center were all impacted by flooding.

Since the 1970s, the Student Center’s Music Listening Room (MLR) served students as a place for relaxation, a cool atmosphere and often for mid-day naps. However, by Spring 2010 the Student Center will convert the MLR into a new location for Under the Couch (UtC).
