Originally from Seattle, Wash., traveling long distances for his passion for engineering is no stranger to Thomas Wall, who recently won the prestigious J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship to spend a total of nine months studying and researching at the University of Amsterdam and Oxford University.

From high school to his third year at Tech, aerospace engineering major, Jonathan Walker has contributed to his community in the name of science, and his deeds have recently been rewarded by a $10,000 scholarship from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF).

Twelve men have walked the moon. Only nine are still alive. This past Tuesday, Tech students had the opportunity to listen to the experiences of the youngest astronaut to ever walk the moon, Charlie Duke.
