I normally try not to complain about stuff like this but the Tech parking system has enraged me enough that I just had to vent somehow. Recently they replaced the perfectly good pay as you leave parking system at the physics building guest lot with a prepay machine filled with problems for no apparent reason.
Serve Tech through student government
From melting glaciers to dramatic weather patterns, climate change is impacting life on Earth. On March 28 at 8:30 p.m., tens of millions of people will demonstrate concern for our planet by turning out their lights for one hour. I urge the Tech community to take part and support Earth Hour. More than 50 million people participated in 2008, as lights went dark at the Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge and Sydney’s Opera House. Earth Hour 2009 will be even bigger, with more than 240 cities and hundreds of college campuses taking part.
Over the past few weeks, the Student Government Association has presented the Tech student body with football ticketing options for the future, but we understand that many still have questions and that there may be some misconceptions about what SGA is thinking. Therefore, here are some “frequently asked questions†and our responses to them.
