A string of burglaries has struck campus this summer, including two at Greek houses. Several of the incidents with items being stolen from residences have shown no forced entry.

Planners and organizers showcased potential furniture selections for the Clouch Undergraduate Learning Center (CULC) on March 11 and 12 at the Student Center Ballroom. The open house featured a number of furnishings that the planners are considering. The event offered the students the chance to see and experience the furniture first hand as well as give feedback to the CULC’s interior designers and consultants.
Representatives from Auxiliary Services and Waffle House held a small ground-breaking ceremony at Tech Square last Friday, Feb. 5. The ceremony will start off a 60-90 day construction period leading up to the grand opening of the restaurant, tentatively planned to be some time in late spring.
WingNuts will close its doors at its North Ave. location on Feb. 28, earlier than the expected relocation date of April 30. The restaurant previously announced plans to relocate to near West Campus, specifically to Marietta St. adjacent to Engineer’s Bookstore and Spoon restaurant. The move was necessitated by Auxiliary Services announcement of plans to build a dining hall in North Ave, using the space that was previously reserved for retail. Construction for the dining hall has already begun in that area.
